Buzzacott is recruiting for a trainee auditor within the Charity and Not-For-Profit Team. You will study towards the ICAEW CFAB qualification and progress to ACA through a structured apprenticeship, with paid study leave and full support from mentors.
The role involves auditing not-for-profit clients, visiting sites mainly in London and the South East, and incrementally increasing salary as milestones are reached during your training.
With more than 130 audit specialists, 6 Partners and strong administrative support, we are one of the largest single office charity teams in the UK. You will have the opportunity to audit, advise, support, and become a specialist in a wide range of sectors within charities and not-for-profit organisations, including but not limited to the education sector (universities, colleges, academies), membership bodies, dynamic social enterprises, international NGOs, religious organisations and Arts and Culture charities. The team has a training ethos with a focus on taking on school-leavers who want to build an audit career working with charities and not-for-profit organisations.
This role is due to commence in March 2027.
In addition to providing quality accounting and auditing services to clients within the Charity and Not-For-Profit Team, you will study towards the ICAEW CFAB qualification under a structured apprenticeship programme before progressing through the remaining stages to become an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
Training consists of a combination of courses at the tutors' offices, private study and regular exams, as well as on-the-job training. You will have paid study leave to support you in the run up to exams and all course and exam fees are paid for.

We have a genuine commitment to your development, offering you a closely supported and structured programme of tuition, provided by a top firm of external tutors. Internally, you'll be supported by a manager who will act as your mentor, a trainee buddy, partners, senior staff and a dedicated Learning & Development team.
As you progress through your training you will receive incremental salary increases as you hit various milestones in your qualification.
Please note we do not accept General Studies or applications from part-qualified applicants.
We're big enough to provide deep expertise across a wide range of specialisms, but small enough to value meaningful personal connections - with clients and colleagues alike. You'll work alongside experienced professionals who will support your continued development, while you contribute to shaping the growth of both our team and our clients.
At Buzzacott, we're committed to equal opportunities and ensuring all employment decisions are fair, objective, and based on merit.
