Vertex, a global biotechnology company, offers a 12‑month Distributor Region Marketing Industrial Placement in London. You will support CF launches across 40 markets, collaborate with Distributor partners, and learn from a dedicated Marketing Director.

The role provides hands‑on experience in international pharma marketing, event support, and cross‑functional teamwork. Based in Paddington, the placement follows a hybrid model with mentoring and exposure to multiple markets, teams and cultures,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• Able to take an Industrial Placement as part of your university course.
• Interest in international pharmaceutical marketing, healthcare innovation and product launches.

Responsibilities

• Support CF marketing strategies across ~40 Distributor markets.
• Assist planning and execution for major CF product launches.
• Help develop launch toolkits, training materials, and partner‑facing resources.
• Support website content development, updates and maintenance for regional needs.
• Assist with Congress and event activities, including planning and logistics.
• Collaborate with Distributor partners across regions to gather insights and feedback.
• Build relationships with marketing colleagues across diverse companies and cultures.
• Coordinate cross‑functional alignment with Medical, Market Access and International teams.
• Organise internal meetings, workshops and regional training sessions.
• Assist with project management, budget processes and tracking launch timelines.
