Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in Liverpool is seeking a detail‑oriented tester to join the Certification & Operations team. The role follows a 4 days on, 4 days off shift, from 8am to 7pm, on-site at the Old Hall Street office.

You will ensure submissions meet the Technical Requirements across PlayStation platforms and assist in training staff. Keep up to date with TRCs and CertOps procedures, raise issues with testing processes, and contribute to project deliveries throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication (English Level 2).
• Ability to adapt behaviour to a range of personalities and cultures.

• Reliable and punctual, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Test submissions to ensure compliance with the Technical Requirements Checklist across PS platforms, including PSVR.
• Develop knowledge of CertOps testing practices and procedures.
• Learn updated CertOps procedures and TRC requirements and adjust testing accordingly.
• Raise issues with test procedures to Team Leaders and offer solutions.
• Assist in training staff when necessary.
• Check content for Legal issues, copyrights and age rating issues.
• Identify and thoroughly investigate and log bugs with version codes; provide progress updates.
• Maintain knowledge of PlayStation platforms and their TRCs; use CertOps systems such as SHIP and Unity.
