Qualifications

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be certified to manage the patient flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of their patients throughout all phases of a woman’s life.

There are 2 full-time positions working M-F between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm in Plymouth location.

Haugen OB/GYN is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions
  • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit.
  • Measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient’s chart. (all indicated)
  • Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
  • Performs in-house testing including UA, Hemoglobin, 1-hour glucose, and, 3-hour glucose.
  • Assist physician and physician assistant in exam rooms as needed.
  • Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or nurse practitioner.
  • Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Successful completion of the state of MN administered Nursing Assistant certification exam OR active registry as a Nursing Assistant in the state of MN

Working Conditions
  • Frequentlylift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
  • Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
