Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking a dedicated in-home caregiver to assist a senior client in Winchester, VA. You would help with daily living activities and provide compassionate support in a home setting. The role includes part-time or full-time schedules, with options for days or overnights.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping and transportation to appointments, along with medication reminders. CNA/HHA certifications are welcomed.

Qualifications

• CNA/HHA certification or license is required or preferred.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation and transferring.
• Provide medication reminders and maintain safety during care.
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation and companionship.
• Transport client to appointments as needed.

Job Requirements

To Qualify for this position, you must have:

Authorization to work in the United States

CNA certification and/or license, Personal Care Aide Certification, Home Health Aide Certification
The ability to stay awake for overnight work hours.

Must be able to commute to and from Winchester, Virginia.
