Job summary

Oliver Rae is seeking a Certification Engineer in Walsall to manage certification, traceability and technical documentation for finished products in the fastener/engineering sector.

You will create and assemble comprehensive certification packs, certify material grades and heat treatment processes, and liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure all documentation meets industry standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience certifying material grades.
• Experience certifying heat treatment processes.
• Ability to create certificates and certification documentation.
• Ability to build comprehensive documentation packs.
• Demonstrated full traceability of parts through manufacturing.
• Ability to liaise with suppliers and customers about certification.
• Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and assemble certification packs for finished products.
• Prepare detailed API certification documentation.
• Review certification documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Certify material grades and heat treatment processes.
• Build documentation packs to validate manufacturing traceability.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain certification information.
• Communicate certification requirements to customers.
• Maintain libraries of industry standards.
• Ensure current standards are accessible.
• Archive supplier certifications.
• Manage scanned certification packs for quick access.
• Maintain daily despatch lists.
• Collaborate with Despatch to meet customer requirements.
• Support the business with certification and traceability queries.
