Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a Functional Skills Maths Tutor to deliver classroom-based training up to Level 2. The role is centre-based with a focus on engaging learners and providing clear guidance to help them progress.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 Teaching qualification or be working towards it, and hold a Level 3 Maths qualification (A Level or above). Strong presentation and communication skills are essential, along with energy and initiative.

• Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Functional Skills Maths up to Level 2 in a classroom environment.
• Use existing delivery resources and prepare own materials when required.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing information, advice and guidance to learners.
• Be flexible in delivery methods and differentiate to meet learners' needs.
• Assist learners in identifying skills required to progress towards careers.
• Demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and train clients to realise potential.
• Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
