Acorn is hiring a Foot Mobile Engineer to cover a Central London patch. This walking role involves moving between client sites on foot and by public transport, with a focus on proactive maintenance and high service standards.

You will carry out PPM, servicing and reactive repairs across sites, supported by a dedicated helpdesk. HVAC knowledge and City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering are preferred for this role.

Formación

• City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Time‑served mechanical or maintenance engineer (apprenticeship preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and reactive repairs across assigned sites
• Attend call‑outs during normal working hours and participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency rota
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Liaise closely with the internal helpdesk and administration teams
• Accurately complete reports, job sheets and compliance documentation
• Maintain log books and site records
• Ensure punctual attendance, professional presentation and correct use of PPE
