Alexander Mann Solutions Ltd. in Cardiff, in partnership with the Office for National Statistics, is hiring Census Test Field Officers (University) to engage students in university halls of residence and encourage census participation. No prior census or survey experience is required.

This field-based role is flexible, about 25 hours per week, with a February 2027 start and an estimated five-week duration. You will receive full training, support, and travel expenses in line with policy.

Qualifications

• No prior census or survey experience required.
• Excellent communication and independent working skills.
• Comfortable speaking with people and engaging with students.

Responsabilités

• Visiting addresses and accurately recording the visit outcome
• Liaising with Halls Managers
• Attending Census events on campus and in halls of residence
• Promoting the benefits of the census, encouraging a positive response from students
• Providing regular reports on progress to your line manager, attending team meetings
• Encouraging, and assisting with, completion
