Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) to join the Cellular Pathology department at the Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital satellite team, with occasional rotation to Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.

The successful candidate will help with sample handling, preparation and tracking, enter patient data, and support consultants during specimen dissection, contributing to the diagnostic service for our local community.

Qualifications

• Perform sample handling, preparation and tracking.
• Support consultation during specimen dissection.
• Enter patient data and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the satellite team at Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital with occasional rotation to Royal Hampshire County Hospital (Winchester).
• Contribute to the diagnostic service by handling tasks in Cellular Pathology.
