An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Cellular Pathology Support Secretary based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, East Devon.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Consultant Pathologists, Speciality Doctors and the Laboratory Team. Working as a team member to ensure all administrative processes and enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.

More detail about the role

The Cellular Pathology Support Secretary will provide administrative support to the Histopathology team. The post holder will fulfil all tasks and work as part of a team. To meet the needs of the service, the post holder may be required to work in other administrative areas as appropriate and as directed by the line manager.

We require an organised, enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable person to join our team. Duties will involve but not be limited to embedding and releasing external reports using EPIC‑Beaker, packaging and sending of specimens, audio‑typing and retrieval of slides and reports for MDT meetings.

Working Pattern: 15 hours per week, Thursday and Friday
