Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel Limited is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Cell Pathology for a locum role in Milton Keynes. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:45–17:15, with an hourly rate of £26.

You will perform technical Cell Pathology activities, process samples for diagnosis, maintain documentation, and collaborate with a team of biomedicals to ensure quality patient care. This role offers development opportunities and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and a biomedical science qualification.
• Post-qualifying experience in biomedical science is required.
• Specialist knowledge and skills in Cell Pathology are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and scientific activities within Cell Pathology.
• Process and analyse biological samples to aid in patient diagnosis.
• Maintain precise documentation in line with healthcare standards.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with other biomedical scientists and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in quality control and assurance procedures to uphold service standards.
