Job description

Why join our team? The role reports to the Display Commercial Finance Manager and will have a dotted reporting line to the TVAV and DA Commercial Finance Managers. This role is to support the Consumer Electronics businesses (TVAV, DA and Display) with financial data management focusing on commercial support and financial planning with the vision to drive and support the next growth phase of the CE products.,

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining financial data within CE Commercial Finance Team. Being a data owner and accumulate the data so that it can be used by other team members
  • Assist with Commercial Finance Managers build the financial simulation materials to reflect various requirements from CE Sales and other relevant teams.
  • Financial Planning support
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the monthly rolling plan templates for all CE products.
  • Conduct the Sales Deduction system upload (coding) process with very tight schedule for all CE Products(TVAV, DA and DISPLAY).
  • Support Yearly Management Planning process including preparation work and system upload.
  • Collaborate closely with wider Commercial Finance team to prepare monthly/yearly rolling plans.
  • Update monthly planning materials (Sales Deduction Preview files) for the CE CFMs
  • Calculate the expected P&L impact (Month End Auto Top up) relating to overpayments made during the month and supports CE CFMs
  • Updating the P&L database with actuals once month end finalises
  • Calculate the expected TOB (Turn Over Based) accrual amount for the CE CFMs
  • Support the CE CFMs to manage monthly reporting including financial performance and ad hoc reporting within SEUK and Europe Office/Suwon Office deadlines.
  • Support to produce and consolidate data from various finance/operation systems.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis to CE CFMs to deliver insights including financial/operational results within SEUK and Europe/Suwon Office's deadlines
    Highly advanced level of Excel proficiency is a must (able to do a macro).
  • Great reporting skills - candidate should be able to present a concise/good format reporting in Excel.
  • Work experience in finance department more than 5+ years.
  • Highest level of attention to details.
  • A Bachelor's degree equivalent in Finance/Accounting related major.
  • Experience of using ERP systems (preferably SAP) is plus.
  • Ability to learn and absorb new knowledge/skills quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, take quick and effective decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and work with others.
