Job description
Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF: I am a 15-year-old boy living in the St. Fagans area of Cardiff. I have autism and can communicate in a limited way, but I am a very happy, friendly, and sociable person. I rarely exhibit challenging behaviours and am generally very compliant. However, I have limited awareness of danger, so I need a Personal Assistant to help keep me safe. I enjoy visiting parks, cafés, going swimming, attending the gym, and spending time at soft play centres and outdoors. I also love animals – although I am scared of dogs.

Purpose of Job

I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me both at home and out in the community. The role involves helping me enjoy social and recreational activities, meet new people, and stay safe. At times, support may also be needed at home with activities such as gardening or playing games. I’m looking for someone who can be a companion – someone to chat with, interact with, and help me feel more confident integrating into the community.
