A support service is recruiting a Personal Assistant in Cardiff to assist a 27-year-old with disabilities in community activities and daily tasks. The role requires experience in epilepsy and administering medication, along with a commitment to reliability and trustworthiness. Drivers with their own cars are essential. The position involves 27 hours of work per week at £14.70 an hour with paid holidays.
27‑year‑old female living in the Heath area requires a personal assistant to support her to maximise her independence. She is adventurous, outgoing and is looking for someone similar to support her out in the community and to activities she enjoys. She has a mild learning disability, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Administering medication may be required and training will be provided for this.

27 hours per week weekdays only, mainly during term time. Hours will be over 4 days a week:
£14.70 an hour.
Although a part‑time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
