Job summary

J.P. Morgan’s Commercial & Investment Bank seeks a Strategic Execution Technical Project Manager within the Chief Data Office to drive transformation and align technology initiatives with business goals.

You will coordinate cross-functional programs, manage stakeholders, and advance risk and data governance efforts. You will leverage enterprise AI capabilities, lead agile and traditional delivery, and partner with Technology, Operations and Business Management to deliver high-impact outcomes

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on technical program management concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Experience in delivering complex, cross-functional technology programs in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Expert stakeholder and vendor management - builds trusted partnerships, influences decision-makers, and drives mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Technically fluent and able to simplify complex processes for diverse audiences; strong end-to-end project lifecycle ownership and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Excellent communicator with strong visualization and presentation skills (advanced PowerPoint), plus strong written and verbal executive-ready messaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines, with consideration of Agile and traditional methodologies.
• Monitor project progress, adjust plans as needed, and provide regular status updates and program communications to stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery, scope adherence, and alignment with business goals. Lead project working forums and steering forums.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing roadblocks and implementing strategies to minimize impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Support operational and business change readiness by defining and documenting new operating models.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies including the use of AI tools.
• Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations.
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning and risk synthesis, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
• Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.

As a Strategic Execution Project Manager within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Chief Data Office (CDO), you will play a pivotal role in driving transformation and advancing business priorities. You will coordinate and execute projects, manage business activities, and build strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and senior management. Collaborating closely with leaders across Business Controls, Technology, Operations, Firmwide partners, and Business Management, you will ensure successful project outcomes and drive the success of our initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies including the use of AI tools.

• Formal training or certification on technical program management concepts and advanced applied experience

• Excellent communicator with strong visualization and presentation skills (advanced PowerPoint), plus strong written and verbal executive-ready messaging.
• Proven ability to prioritize and execute multiple concurrent workstreams with high attention to detail, independently or collaboratively, under tight deadlines; proficient with Monday.com, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Copilot.

• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.

• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Experience in data management and/or data governance, regulatory initiatives.
• Experience in an investment banking Regulatory, Compliance or Data team.
