Summary of the CDM Project Manager

Salary: up to £65,000 per annum, Location: Bedford, Type of Contract: Permanent, Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 4:45pm, Fridays 8:15am - 1:45pm, Benefits: 25 days holiday, pension scheme, life assurance 4x, enhanced maternity/paternity leave, free onsite parking, employee assistance programme

Responsibilities of the CDM Project Manager
  • Lead interdisciplinary project teams to deliver infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and maintain CDM documentation.
  • Manage budgets, project plans and risk registers.
  • Conduct project reviews and site inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S and environmental standards.
  • Support tendering processes.
  • Complete and manage site surveys.
Requirements for a successful CDM Project Manager
  • High level of CDIM experience.
  • NEBOSH certificate.
  • Experience managing engineering or construction projects within water, infrastructure or mechanical sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies with PRINCE2.
  • CTIB: SMSTS
  • CSCS Gold Card.
  • EUSR Card Blue Water.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
