Job summary

DM Safety & Health Services seeks a CDM Advisor / Principal Designer to support infrastructure, public sector, and engineering projects across the North West region. You will deliver CDM and H&S guidance, manage pre-construction information, and drive compliance across live projects with regional travel.

The role requires NEBOSH certification, UK infrastructure experience, and a strong understand of CDM 2015. A full UK driving license and willingness to travel is essential.

Qualifications

• This role requires NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate and UK experience in infrastructure/public sector projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CDM 2015 and structural/industrial project delivery.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure CDM/H&S compliance across client sites.
• Provide technical CDM and H&S guidance to project managers and contractors.
• Develop and review pre-construction info, construction phase plans, and risk assessments.
• Produce monthly compliance reports and support governance reviews.
• Lead design risk workshops and contribute to project review meetings.
• Deliver in-house training and toolbox talks to engineering teams.
