Compliance Professionals in London is working with a leading international bank to hire a CDD Analyst responsible for client due diligence, onboarding and ongoing reviews in line with FCA regulations. The role requires you to work in the office four days per week.

You will collaborate with Front-Office and Compliance, own your workload, maintain accurate records and support department reporting, quality controls, and audits.

Formación

• Mandarin language skills required (spoken and written).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience performing KYC/KYB checks in a banking environment.
• Experience onboarding SPVs, funds, charities, foundations, SWFs, state-owned and supranational entities, and trusts.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Client Due Diligence (CDD) and ongoing reviews in line with FCA regulations and policies.
• Own workload to ensure timely completion within policy timelines and Front-Office deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and department reporting quality.
• Ensure output quality and comply with internal and Head Office audits.
• Raise SARs when abnormalities in client behaviour are detected.
• Proactively communicate with Front-Office and Compliance.
• Assist CDD Dept with internal projects as directed by management.
• Support Head/Deputy Head of CDD to achieve KPI objectives.
• Assist Front-Office with MiFID classification on new/existing clients; ensure AEOI data is recorded.

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading international bank based in the City, looking to hire a CDD Analyst. Candidates must be able to work in the office 4 days per week.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Client Due Diligence (CDD) is responsible for performing client on-boarding and on-going due diligence reviews in accordance with FCA regulations and company policies. This is accomplished by working with both the Front-Office and Compliance Departments.
• To take full ownership of your workload, ensuring timely completion of all tasks in accordance with policy time-lines, Front-Office deadlines, and client expectation.
• To maintain regular and accurate records, ensuring the precision of Department reporting.
• To maintain the quality of output, ensuring compliance with internal and Head Office assurance practices, as well as both internal and Head Office Audits.
• To be sensitive to abnormalities in client behaviour, raising SAR’s as may be required.
• To be proactive in communication with the Front-Office and Compliance Departments.
• To assist the CDD Department with internal projects from time-to-time, as may be decided by your manager.
• To support the Head and Deputy Head of CDD as may be required, from time-to-time, towards achievement of Department objectives/KPI’s.
• To assist the Front-Office by completing MiFlD classification on new and existing clients as required;
• To ensure that AEOI information is accurately recorded;

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Candidates must be able to work in the office 4 days per week.
• Must have Mandarin language skills – spoken and written
• Minimum 4 years’ experience performing KYC/KYB Checks within a commercial bank’s CDD function
• Proven experience in on-boarding SPV’s, Funds, Charities, Foundations, SWF, State Owned and Supranational Entities, and Trusts;
• An understanding of organisational structures, and of the breadth of AML requirements for a range of corporate and Fl entities both in the UK and overseas;
• Must have Mandarin language skills
• CDD/KYC/Financial Crime Prevention related certification preferred.
