Are you passionate about driving quality and excellence in healthcare diagnostics? We are recruiting a CDC IQIPS Accreditation Manager to lead and coordinate accreditation activities for Physiological Sciences across the University Hospital Southampton (UHS) and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare (HIOWH) diagnostic centres.

This pivotal role will ensure our Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) meet the highest standards of care through the Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS) accreditation process. You will work closely with clinical teams, governance leads, and service managers to embed quality, safety, and continuous improvement across respiratory and cardiology services.

Your work will directly impact patient outcomes, service reliability, and organisational performance, supporting our strategic goals and ensuring compliance with national standards.

You will collaborate with a counterpart in HIOWH responsible for radiology accreditation and benefit from structured support, including training and access to the South East CDC Accreditation Peer Support Group.

As one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England, we offer learning and development opportunities to help you achieve the career you aspire to.

Specific to this role is the suitability for agile working which is a mixture of on-site and remote working. In addition, we are open to discussing flexibility in the hours that you work. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what’s possible for the role and service. UHS employees are able to access a range of NHS discounts, are entitled to a minimum of 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), and we offer a generous pension scheme.
