Job description
Overview

We are looking for a CCTV Technician to join our highly skilled and friendly centralised CCTV Team. The role is primarily based at our Manchester workshop facilities located in Eccles, but travel and some overnight stays will be required to help us support the Group. Reporting directly to Head of Group CCTV and assisting the CCTV Systems Manager, the main aim of the role will be to support the Group nationally in all matters relating to our next generation CCTV Equipment. This includes the triage, test, repair and service of our CCTV Equipment and will also include management of the stores, spares and ancillary equipment.

Location & Schedule
  • Manchester (Eccles)
  • Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
  • Travels and overnight stays within the Group as required
Key Responsibilities
  • Triage, test, repair, and service next‑generation CCTV Equipment
  • Carry out troubleshooting, testing and repairs of various brands of drainage CCTV equipment
  • Provide online/telephone support and technical assistance across the Group network
  • Manage storage and supply of spare parts and ancillary equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and servicing on equipment
  • Deliver basic operational and maintenance training to CCTV operatives
  • Maintain accurate logs of location and service/repair history
  • Support CCTV Systems Manager with other secondary duties as confirmed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Electronics/electrical or operational CCTV background preferred, along with relevant qualifications
  • Full clean UK driving licence preferred and must pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling activities
