Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a CCTV Drainage Operative based in Leeds to inspect drainage systems with CCTV from a survey van and record findings for reporting. You will work in a two-person team, prioritise safety, and use digital reporting tools to deliver precise documentation.

Required is a full UK driving licence, ability to work in the field, and competence with Excel and tablets. Training and development opportunities are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person team, supporting colleagues to deliver work safely and efficiently.
• Competent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel and digital reporting systems.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when recording survey findings and completing documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate reports and maintain clear digital records.
• Confident using tablets, computers, and other technology to capture survey data and complete documentation.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures and a commitment to following safe working practices at all times.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess drainage systems using CCTV to identify defects and blockages.
• Record and report findings accurately using digital systems.
• Work mainly from a fully equipped survey van.
