Job description

We are looking for a CCTV Controller to provide excellent communication and CCTV skills within a busy control room, which is responsible for supporting and managing all activity in and around the location.

Contract Information:
Pay Rates: 16.22 per hour
Hours per week: 42 hours per week, covering days, nights and weekends
Shift Pattern: 4 on and 4 off, working 12 hour shifts.
SIA Licenses: Door Supervisor and a CCTV licence.

Your Time at Work

Responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively monitoring the CCTV system.
  • Monitor and allocate officer attendance to panic alarm activations.
  • Monitor and allocate officer attendance to fire alarm activations.
  • Monitoring and controlling access to the site.
  • Monitor and allocate officer attendance to the parking enforcement team.
  • Key control.
  • Responding to requests of CCTV monitoring.
  • Health, safety along with the welfare of security officers.
  • Reporting and monitoring incidents.
  • Maintaining contact with security officers on patrol.
  • Immediate reporting of faults with the CCTV or fire alarm systems.
Our Perfect Worker

It is important to have great communication and customer service skills. You will also need to have strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
