A local government authority in Bexleyheath is seeking a professional to manage CCTV contracts, ensuring public safety and legal compliance. Candidates should have a degree and experience in contractor management. The role offers competitive salary and excellent benefits, including an outstanding pension scheme and generous leave.
CCTV protects public safety and assists in the reduction and detection of crime, reducing the fear of crime, disorder and antisocial behaviour. This post will be responsible for managing the council’s contract for the maintenance and provision of CCTV hardware and software services and development. This will also include responsibilities to support the development, implementation and management of the governance systems to ensure adherence to the Surveillance Camera Code of Practise and other legal and regulatory compliance, liaising with relevant stakeholders including the MET Police and the Community Safety Board.
You will be educated to a degree level and have proven experience and ability to manage contractors and provide feedback on their performance. You will also need to have experience in working in partnership to achieve joint outcomes.
