Job summary

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust is seeking a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Trainee - Band 4 to support delivery of Step 2 CBT‑based interventions across the CWPT Talking Therapies service by phone, video or face‑to‑face. The post involves high‑volume, low‑intensity care, GP liaison, data entry and safeguarding, with training to achieve the Certificate in Psychological Wellbeing Practice.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in low‑intensity CBT approaches.
• Ability to conduct patient assessments and signpost appropriately.
• Familiarity with data collection and record keeping in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Offer telephone assessments to patients with anxiety/depression.
• Provide low‑intensity, CBT-based interventions via telephone, video or face‑to‑face.
• Liaise with GPs and Adult Mental Health Teams as required.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and monitor recovery targets.
• Support delivery of Step 2 courses and signpost to employment or training where appropriate.
