This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high quality psychological therapy, enjoys multidisciplinary teamwork, and is eager to contribute to ongoing service improvement. Prior experience working with individuals who have severe and enduring mental health difficulties will be an advantage. Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
  • Doctoral Qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology OR a qualification in an accredited psychological therapy (e.g. Post Graduate Diploma or Master's degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) or Equivalent Psychological therapy training and a recorded registered qualification in one of the following core professions - nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy, psychological therapy.
  • Significant experience working as a Psychological Therapy Practitioner.
  • Interest/experience in working with trauma and unusual experiences and beliefs e.g. hearing voices.
Desirable criteria
  • Demonstrate further accredited/validated specialist psychological therapy training/experience Post-graduate training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice (e.g. CBTp, EMDR, CFT).
  • Experience working with families and other care networks.

  • To contribute to a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all clients of the service, across all settings and agencies serving the client group.
