Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to deliver telephone triage assessments and CBT-based guided self-help to adults with common mental health problems. The role includes running groups and working with High-Intensity Therapists where appropriate.

You will contribute to service development, participate in supervision, and engage in CPD for conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and health anxiety.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in telephone-based assessments and CBT-based guided self-help.
• Experience with common mental health problems in primary care.
• Willingness to develop skills in areas such as long-term conditions, OCD, health anxiety.

Responsibilities

• Conducting telephone based assessments to determine intervention steps and risk.
• Delivering brief, evidence-based interventions for anxiety/depression to adults 17+ in CBT framework.
• Offering groups for anxiety or depression; working with interpreters; supporting diversity.
