Are you a qualified or soon-to-be qualified CBT Psychotherapist looking for a new challenge in a supportive work environment?

We are looking for a CBT Psychotherapist to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIPS) service, based in Medway.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as it continues to offer evidence-based interventions. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality CBT and family interventions to people aged 14+ with a first episode of psychosis.

You will also be involved in case consultation and collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

As a CBT Psychotherapist with Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust, you will have plenty of support and opportunities to develop your own practice, whilst providing excellent care to people with psychosis and their families.

You must hold a postgraduate Qualification in CBT, BABCP registration and have experience working with people with mental health problems. We welcome your application if you are awaiting your registration and are keen to develop your skills and further training in psychosis.

Responsibilities
  • Provide CBT and other psychological interventions (e.g., substance misuse and family interventions) to people with a first episode of psychosis.
  • Conduct high-quality assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with the MDT to strengthen the team's therapeutic capacity.
  • Contribute to service development and participate in research and evaluation activities.

The Early Intervention for Psychosis Service is a well-respected and well-established multi-disciplinary service with a reputation for excellence. The EIP psychological therapies staff are integrated within EIPS and committed to providing support, excellent supervision and to developing its staff.
