Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting to provide high quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to Children, Young People and families in the Community CYP ED service across Nottingham City and County. You will supervise CBT delivery by junior colleagues and contribute to training and research.

You will work within the MDT, offer liaison with partner agencies, and take a leadership role to support service development and cover for the service lead when required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering CBT to children and young people.
• Experience supervising junior colleagues and trainees.
• Ability to lead service development and provide leadership cover.

The post holder will work alongside colleagues within the MDT to provide evidence-based treatment to the young people and families throughout Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County who present with a significant eating disorder. The MDT meet on a weekly basis to consider all referrals into the team; discuss assessments and for complex case discussion, of which the post holder will contribute to this and bring their knowledge and expertise to support the team processes and reflections.

You will offer specialist assessment and treatment for young people who present with a significant eating disorder. You will provide liaison, consultation and support to other agencies and work closely with our partners in paediatrics, inpatient/wider CAMHS. You will be supported to take on a leadership role to ensure service development and provide leadership cover when required to support the service lead. You will offer support and supervision to more junior colleagues, students, and trainees.

To provide high quality Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy to Children, Young People and families in receipt of a Community CYP ED service. To supervise and support the application of CBT provided by other team members within the Community CYP ED Team. To become involved in research and audit, contribute to service training and further development of CBT within wider Community CAMHS Teams.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
