Job summary

VIQU IT Recruitment is seeking a Cato Cloud Engineer for a 6-month contract with remote work. You will join a central Cloud Engineering team to enhance and automate cloud infrastructure while supporting cloud migration and digital transformation.

The role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services across a large enterprise environment, using Cato Networks, SASE, SD-WAN and ZTNA concepts. You’ll collaborate with architects and developers to drive cloud transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cato Networks.
• Knowledge of SASE, SD-WAN and ZTNA concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Scripting or programming in Python, Go or Java.
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of cloud networking and security principles.
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve the organisation’s Cato Network integrating cloud infra with SASE, SD-WAN and ZTNA.
• Develop automation, self-service tools and deployment frameworks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.
• Support application migration and adoption of cloud-native architectures.
• Improve cloud platform security, resilience, availability and performance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and stakeholders to deliver cloud transformation initiatives.

The Cato Cloud Engineer Role:

Cato Cloud Engineer's Essential Technologies & Experience:

• Experience and knowledge of Cato Networks.
• Knowledge or practical experience of SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), SD-WAN and Zero Trust Network Access would be ideal.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
