St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Brewood, Stafford, invites applications for a Principal who will lead from January 2027. The role includes some teaching commitments and requires a faith-driven, inspirational leader who can raise standards while staying connected to the classroom.

The successful candidate will nurture a Catholic ethos, build strong partnerships with families and the local parish, and drive rapid, sustainable school improvement within the St Gabriel the Archangel CMAT network.

Qualifications

• Practising Catholic and faith-driven leader who nurtures spiritual life of pupils and staff.
• Proven track record in successful school leadership with raising standards and accelerating progress for all pupils.
• Clear vision for high-quality primary education and determination to deliver rapid, sustained school improvement.
• Valuing parents as genuine partners in children’s education and building strong community relationships.
• Unwavering commitment to safeguarding the welfare of every child.
• Experience of leading and supporting pupils with SEND would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
