  • Manage your own caseload, supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs across our Trust and the services it delivers.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Chaplaincy Department, working collaboratively with colleagues of all faiths and beliefs.
  • Take part in projects directed by the Lead Chaplain, helping shape how chaplaincy responds to the challenges of modern healthcare.
  • Serve as a specialist resource for the Trust on spiritual, ethical, and religious matters, offering guidance and insight where it is most needed.
  • Provide one‑to‑one and group pastoral support, prayer, and sacramental ministry for patients, staff, and families.
  • Respond sensitively to people in crisis, offering reassurance, listening, and comfort in often complex and emotionally demanding situations.
  • Work with patients who present with diverse and sometimes challenging mental health or learning disability needs, adapting your approach to meet them where they are.
