Caterlink is recruiting a Relief Catering Assistant to cover Exeter, Torbay, Plymouth and Tavistock. The role is term-time only with no weekends and requires your own transport as it is mobile-based across locations.

You will support the Catering Manager, ensure food safety and health and safety procedures are followed, and help manage inventories and budgets. DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Relief Catering Assistant to provide cover in the Exeter, Torbay, plymouth and Tavistock area to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £13.20per hour
• 20 hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To help the Catering Manager prepare and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
