Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to cover Exeter, Torbay, Plymouth and Tavistock. The role is term-time only with 38 weeks per year and 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the requirement of your own transport for a mobile position across multiple sites.

£13.20 per hour is offered, and DBS disclosure is part of the process. The job supports site teams, ensures compliance with food safety and health and safety standards, and involves inventory and budget tasks as part of its

Responsibilities

• To help the Catering Manager prepare and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans

We are hiring for a Relief Catering Assistant to provide cover in the Exeter, Torbay, plymouth and Tavistock area to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £13.20 per hour
• 20 hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To help the Catering Manager prepare and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
