Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to provide cover in Cheltenham, term-time only, with no weekends and a mobile role requiring your own transport. The role pays £12.90 per hour for 20 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, supporting our school sites.

You will assist in food preparation, uphold health and safety standards, keep areas clean, provide friendly service, and help maintain Caterlink’s brand image while safeguarding children and vulnerable adults with DBS checks.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Relief Catering Assistant to provide cover in the area of Cheltenham to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £12.90 per hour
• 20hours per week working Monday - Friday
• Term-time only - working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
