Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant to cover schools in the Plymouth and Tavistock area. The role is term-time only, with 10-20 hours per week on weekdays between 9-2 and no weekends.

You will assist in food prep, maintain safety standards, keep areas clean, and provide friendly service while transporting food to other sites. Driving is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive and have daily access to a car.

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Catering Assistant to cover our schools in the Plymouth and Tavistock area. Perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £13per hour
• 10-20 hours per week working Monday – Friday between 9-2
• Term-time only – working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
• Transporting food in ownvehicle to another site.
