Job summary

Caterlink, a leading education sector catering specialist, is recruiting for a role involving food preparation, cooking, and presenting meals to high standards. This position is term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, at £13.46 per hour.

You will ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance, handle mandatory paperwork, and support the site by managing inventories and budgets as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and cooking to standard.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Experience supporting inventories and budgets on site.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed and paperwork completed accurately.
• Support the location by managing inventories and monitoring budgets.
• Assist line manager with day-to-day running of the location.

The Role

• £13.46 per hour
• 32.5 hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
