Job summary

Caterlink in Bodsham, Ashford, is hiring a Catering Assistant to perform a variety of food production tasks and provide food service in our schools. This term-time only role has 8 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across 38 weeks per year, with a pay of £12.71 per hour.

You will assist with food preparation, ensure compliance with health and safety and food safety standards, keep kitchen and dining areas clean, and deliver friendly, efficient service to pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or school meals preferred.
• Ability to perform food production tasks and service.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at Bodsham, Ashfordto perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71per hour
• 8hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
