Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant at St Augustine's High School, Scarborough, to perform food production and service in our school kitchens. This term-time role is 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a pay of £12.71 per hour across 38 weeks per year.

You will help prepare tasty meals, maintain high hygiene standards, keep work areas clean, and provide friendly, efficient service to pupils and staff. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at St Augustine's High School, Scarborough to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71per hour
• 17.5hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
