An exciting opportunity has arisen to join award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Catering professional to lead our kitchen team at The Priory Voluntary Catholic School.

As Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the kitchen including preparation, cooking, service and performing clerical duties via a digital management system.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Oversee preparation, cooking and service of meals.
  • Perform clerical duties via a digital management system.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health and safety compliance.
  • Foster an attitude appropriate to the school environment to create positive lunchtime experiences for customers.
Qualifications
  • Ideally NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent experience.
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2.
Salary

Starting salary within the grade is negotiable depending on experience, current salary and qualifications.
