We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Supervisor to join our Retail Catering team at Musgrove Park Hospital. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality food and beverage services within our Breeze restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with food safety standards. As a supervisor, you will lead and motivate a team of catering assistants, oversee day‑to‑day operations, and support the Catering Manager in planning menus, rotas, and promotional activities. This is a hands‑on role where you'll also assist with food preparation and hospitality functions.

• Supervise retail catering staff and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, safety, and hygiene.
• Provide advice to customers on menu choices, nutrition, and allergens.
• Oversee till operations and financial transactions.
• Assist with menu planning, stock control, and ordering.
• Train and support team members, ensuring compliance with mandatory training.
• Act as a key holder for opening/closing premises and maintaining security.
• Support hospitality and promotional activities.
