Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all Defence catering and service operations on a full-time basis in Wareham, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences, while leading teams, training staff, and upholding health and safety standards. This role offers clear progression within a supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated individual who is keen to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
