Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily catering services and ensure high standards of service. You will lead a busy FOH team, assist with daily menu planning, and monitor quality, hygiene, and safety while supporting cost controls.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service focus, and experience in contract catering. UK access and weekend hours are involved, with opportunities for professional development.

  • Lead and supervise the Front of House team, including training and performance management.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve client issues promptly.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and maintain hygiene records.
  • Order supplies, manage stock levels, and conduct inventories.
  • Help control costs and ensure financial viability of catering services.

About The Role
Hours per week: This role is working varied days and will include over the weekend, 8am- 2pm or 4pm-9pm
Key responsibilities

What are we looking for?
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Contract Catering industry is required
  • Hold relevant qualifications, have knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety is a must
  • A proven track record in supervising a team and leadership is crucial
  • Demonstrate high standards and be well organised in all areas of Management
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills are essential
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively
  • Ability to handle different situations and find practical solutions
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time-management and organisational abilitiesAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Competent with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • While not always mandatory, having a food hygiene certificate (Level 2) is advantageous
