Overview

Blue Arrow is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor for a busy hospital in the Lanarkshire area. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a background in catering or hospitality.

Key Duties
  • Supervising and motivating the catering team
  • Overseeing daily food service operations
  • Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Managing rotas and staff allocation
  • Supporting stock control and ordering supplies
  • Liaising with hospital departments to meet dietary requirements
  • Training and mentoring catering assistants
  • Maintaining cleanliness and service quality throughout
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a catering supervisory role (ideally in healthcare or similar environment)
  • Valid PVG and Food Hygiene Certificate LVL 2 (we can assist with obtaining these)
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Flexible to work across a rotating shift pattern, including weekends
