Job summary

Gather and Gather CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an experienced Catering Manager to oversee all catering and service operations at CH&CO on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). You will lead kitchen and service teams, ensure exceptional food and customer experience, and drive sales through innovative concepts.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Strong financial acumen and budget awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and service.
• Oversee in-unit catering operations, inventories and budgets; implement action plans.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Gather and Gather CH&CO and maintain a positive brand image.
• Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train teams; lead from the front; ensure Health & Safety compliance.
