Job summary

The Willows is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to oversee our school catering service, responsible for menu planning, food preparation, stock control, purchasing, budgeting and food safety compliance for pupils, staff and visitors.

You will lead a small catering team, drive healthy eating, ensure a welcoming dining environment, and contribute to safeguarding and child‑centred practice. The role includes CPD and development opportunities.

Job description

The successful candidate will oversee menu planning, food preparation, stock control, purchasing, budgeting, food safety compliance, and the management of a small catering team. They will play a key role in promoting healthy eating and ensuring an excellent dining experience for pupils, staff, and visitors.
