Burger Van Manager

Location: Burger Van on the A12 Marks Tay, Longwater Construction Suppliers Car Park towards Colchester

Position: Burger Van Manager (Morning and Evening Shifts Available)

Hourly Wage: £12 - £16 per hour

About Us

We are launching a new burger van specialising in mouth‑watering burgers made from high‑quality ingredients. Our goal is to provide our customers with a fantastic dining experience from our burger box off a busy A road.

Position Overview
  • Morning Shift: 6 AM - 1 PM
  • Evening Shift: 1 PM - 7 PM
Responsibilities
  • Operate the burger van efficiently during assigned shifts
  • Prepare and cook burgers and other menu items to a high standard
  • Ensure compliance with all food hygiene and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage customer interactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the van and cooking area
  • Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
  • Communicate stock levels at the end of each day and identify items that need restocking
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Qualifications
  • Valid Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate (or above)
  • Basic food safety and hygiene training (preferably certified)
  • First Aid certification (recommended)Proven experience in food preparation and customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for food, particularly burgers, and quality service
