Watford House Care Home in High Peak is seeking a Chef to deliver high quality, nutritious meals in a supportive team. This full-time role (32 hours per week) offers a consistent day pattern with no late evenings, helping you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
You will tailor meals to dietary needs, maintain hygiene standards, and support menu planning. The role provides ongoing training and development opportunities, a paid DBS, pension, and uniform.
Our residential home is in the beautiful High Peak, providing high quality Residential, Respite and Dementia care for 36-residents.

As a Chef, you will deliver high quality, nutritious and enjoyable meals that are a key part of daily life. This is a role where your cooking has real impact, bringing comfort, routine and enjoyment while supporting overall wellbeing.
You will take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring meals are tailored to individual dietary needs, preferences and nutritional requirements. Maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety, you will consistently deliver meals that residents look forward to each day.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and smooth day to day service. With no late evenings or split shifts, this role offers a strong work life balance while still allowing you to take pride in producing high quality food in a rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
