Job summary

Aramark is hiring a General Service Assistant for the Strensall site near York. You will support high standards of cleanliness and service across the catering operation, with a focus on kitchen hygiene and customer areas. A positive attitude and reliability are valued, and full training is provided.

The role offers 30 hours per week, an hourly rate of £12.71, and on-site parking plus gym access. DBS/BPSS checks may apply, with career progression within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Full training will be provided, so previous experience is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Pot washing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the kitchen
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and food preparation areas
• Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining floors throughout the catering operation
• Cleaning dining areas and ensuring they remain presentable at all times
• Assisting with general housekeeping duties across the site
• Supporting the wider catering team with operational tasks as required
• Following health & safety, food safety, and company procedures at all times
• Helping to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues
