Job description

We are looking for a Catering/ Facilities Supervisor to provide effective leadership to the Facilities staff within the Facilities Department and to be responsible for co-ordination of duties throughout the Department within an allocated area.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ward meal orders, stock control and team scheduling.
• To be instrumental in the development of quality initiatives and in ensuring the effectiveness of your team.
• Organise the allocation of staff within the Department so that all duties are covered by flexible use of staff to ensure the smooth running of the service.
• Areas of responsibility include Patient Dining and Retail Catering, Domestic Cleaning Services, Waste, Portering, Security, Switchboard, Linen and Post.

Working Pattern

Working pattern over a 2 week rota with alternate week-ends.

Pay

Enhanced hourly pay rates at week-ends equating to £15.75ph on Saturdays and £19.72ph on Sundays.
